Dr Charles Crawford BDS MSc FCGDent PGCT&L

Associate Dentist

Charles has been at Calm Dental since it started in 2009.  Over the years he has been heavily involved in dental education, acting as a mentor to newly graduated dentists.  At Calm he carries out dental rehabilitation work often using dental implants.  He helps a lot of patients who have suffered from the effects of tooth grinding and clenching (bruxism).  As well as rebuilding their teeth he uses splints and botox to protect them from further damage.

Charles also works at Manchester Dental Hospital where he runs the clinic for jaw joint disorders (TMDs) and facial pain.  This has led to him collaborating with other medical colleagues at the British Pain Society as editor of the periodical Pain News.

Away from dentistry he is devoted to his two Lakeland Terriers, Pippin and Nova, and loves to have a chat about good books.
